CVS/pharmacy, a convenient shopping destination for everything from candy and newspapers to mass market cosmetics, is changing its image in some areas by welcoming a prestigious new retail neighbor. With its launch of Beauty 360, CVS/pharmacy has introduced an innovative store concept “designed to change the way women shop for prestige beauty.” Beauty 360 is focused on service, and features a wide range of prestige and niche beauty brands from the skin care and fragrance categories. Trained and licensed professionals offer a variety of brand-specific signature services, including mini-manicures, express facials, hand massages and makeup application. The inaugural Beauty 360 location opened in Washington, DC. The next is scheduled to open in Mission Viejo, CA. Both locations are adjacent to CVS/pharmacy stores and can be accessed via a breezeway as well as a separate entrance. More locations are being explored across the country for 2009. The portfolio of brands launching in the first two Beauty 360 locations include: Dr. Brandt Skincare, Clean, P&G fragrance, Laura Geller, Coty fragrance, Sampar, Elizabeth Arden fragrance, Stendhal, Freeze, 24.7, It Cosmetics, StriVectin, Borba, Juicy Couture fragrance, ModelCo, Japonesque, Talika, Lavera, Zirh, Me Bath, Pop Beauty, Blinc, Bloom, Clarins Fragrance, Payot, Caron Paris and Perlier. What’s more, loyal customers can reap the benefits of CVS reward programs.
